Pat the swordfish dry and rub with olive oil, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let sit 15 minutes.
Heat a grill or grill pan to medium-high and oil the grates.
Grill the steaks 4 to 5 minutes per side. Swordfish is firm - it is done when just opaque in the center (do not overcook or it dries out).
Squeeze lemon over the top.
Rest 3 minutes and serve with a green salad or grilled vegetables.
