  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper (plus more)
  • 8 baked buttermilk biscuits, split

Method

  1. Step 1

    Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium-high, breaking it up, 6 to 8 minutes until browned. Leave the fat in the pan.
